“I didn’t start a movement. I went for a walk. And somewhere along the way, I remembered who I was.”
Founder & Vision Leader
Founder, Go Inspire Now
I’m a mother of 11. I was raised by a single father. I’ve spent most of my life caring for others—and somewhere in all of that, I lost myself. Not dramatically. Quietly. In all the ways a woman loses herself when she gives everything and forgets to save any for her own soul.
One day, I just… went for a walk.
No plan. No mission. Just me and the sidewalk and the weight of everything I’d been carrying. And on that walk, I passed women living on the street. Women without homes. Women without certainty about their next meal.
And I felt something I didn’t expect: recognition.
Not because our circumstances were the same—they weren’t. But because I recognized something in their eyes that I had felt in mine. A kind of homelessness that has nothing to do with an address. A feeling of being lost from yourself. Of not quite knowing who you are anymore—or if anyone sees you at all.
That’s when I knew.
How Go Inspire Now Began
Go Inspire Now was born from that walk—and every walk I’ve taken since. Because I realized that what I needed, and what those women on the street needed, and what so many of us need… wasn’t a program. It wasn’t a resource guide. It was someone to walk beside us long enough to say:
I’m a woman who spent years taking care of everyone else—my children, my family, my community. I helped care for my grandmother. I poured into everyone around me. And I did it with love.
But I forgot to pour into myself.
Go Inspire Now is my answer to that. It’s the community I wish I had found sooner. It’s the reminder that you don’t have to have it all together to belong. You don’t have to be healed to be welcomed. You just have to be willing to take the next step.
We are not a crisis organization. We are not a counseling center. We are a movement of women who show up for each other—as they are, where they are, with no prerequisites and no pressure.
I didn’t discover who I was on that walk. I remembered. And that’s what I want for every woman who walks with us.
With love,
LeeLee
What Every Woman Deserves
In a world that moves too fast, every woman deserves to feel fully seen—not just noticed, but genuinely known. At Go Inspire Now, no woman walks unnoticed.
You bring something to this world that no one else can. Go Inspire Now exists to remind women of their worth when the weight of life makes it hard to remember.
Real community is rooted in love. We walk together, encourage one another, and show up—because that’s what it means to love your neighbor well.
There’s a community of women in DFW who are ready to walk beside you. Come as you are. You belong here.
